A Handy Man's Guide For Dad's

Product Details

Today is another day, the day after Cyber Monday. The shopping frenzy has slowed a bit but still high for this time of year. Despite all the shopping over the weekend from Black Friday to Cyber Monday it seems as if we have forgotten about dads as usual in the frey of shopping.

As a strong supporter and in many cases the backbone of the family we should never forget dad and show him our appreciation during this time of the year, whether it's with a card, a tool for working around the home or just an ipad.

Most dads today do not know how to be handy around the house so a good idea would be a handy man's guide. Something that would teach him how to fix something when broken around the house. This would make his woman proud as well as boost his self confidence knowing he is able to fix something when it's broken.

By being his own handy man he lowers his household expense by doing it himself. This entails making his wife proud because the extra dollars saved can be used to go elsewhere. Make life easier while appreciating the man in your life and give him the gift that every man should possess.

Black Friday Mad Rush

By Sanford Hall

Thanksgiving is now over, hope you all had a great time feasting with the family. Keep those in mind who were less fortunate to have a Thanksgiving. With that being said, we all know today is Black Friday, a day many shoppers look forward to buying holiday gifts.

What is Black Friday? Black Friday is the day after thanksgiving in which stores look to boost sales. Many times stores are in the red during the year and on this day it is when they tend to go into the black from heavy shopping activity by shoppers. This can be done in store or online shopping. Many stores see their best results during this time of the year or during this weekend and into Cyber Monday.

If you hadn't the time to shop today is that time to find the best deals in stores. Never mind the long lines and mad rush by shoppers. You can now shop online in the comfort of your home or office for all your needs, whether it's your holiday needs or your everyday need. Encourage your friends to do the same, it saves valuable time and excessive stress.

Make this day a rewarding day by staying in this Black Friday and shop online, remember sales lasts throughout the weekend and into Cyber Monday.

Black Ops 2 Selling at Record Pace

Product Details

By Sanford Hall

Who said the economy is doing bad? Not when it come to gamers. Somewhere they are finding the dollars to buy Black Ops 2, the new released video game which recently sold $500M within 24 hrs. The numbers are insane, but they are flying off the shelves in record pace.

Could we donate a portion of this money being spent on games to the needy or less fortunate? It almost seems unfair that we spend frivolously on something that's insignificant. There has to be a better way for us to use or better judgement and spend our dollars more wisely.

Holiday Season Hot Toys

By Sanford Hall

What are kids asking for this holiday season?
Anything tech-related is predicted to be popular with the school-age children, including kid-oriented tablet computers such as the Leapfrog LeapPad 2 and the Tabeo
Look for helicopters and cars that are operated using smartphone apps, and also the return of the Furby -- the furry plaything that spoke gibberish and inspired long lines in the late 1990s -- with so much more high-tech upgrades.
My two children, ages 10 and 12 have already completed their list of which many are included in this entry. I tend to get most of my ideas from them and their friends of which I include in my story lines. It gives me a great first hand insight of the trends of today.
With ipads being at the top of their list, along with video games and many others. There are some great tablets for families who don't want to share an iPad or don't want to spend money on one. Also many of the toys of today integrated with smart phones, smarts phones are integrated with apps and can be used as a remote control to operate many toys.

  Product Details
Aside from digital gadgets, kids are sure to ask for more traditional construction sets, dolls and toys linked to hit movies or TV shows and don't forget one of the most favorite of all times, a bicycle to ride and clothes to wear eventhough not considered a toy.
Kids are also expected to wish for year-round favorites such as the Monster High dolls, featuring the kids of famous monsters, and Lego playsets. Toys based on popular movies or television shows such as Disney's Doc Mcstuffins will also be in demand.
With U.S. retail toy sales totaling $21.2 billion last year, toys are big business — especially during the final months of the year, when toy merchants can score as much as 40% of their annual sales. Shoppers this year will spend an estimated $586.1 billion during such time,  according to the National Retail Federation, with a big chunk of that holiday budget going to toys.

Teething Toys For Toddlers

By Sanford Hall

Many times we often hear toddlers and infants alike crying and drooling. For the most part it's in part because their gums are itching and in need of soothing. We tend to provide solutions as parents and solve the problems of our little ones.

Teething is usually associated with continuous crying, irritability and drooling. As a father of two, I have gained much experience helping my wife rear our two children. Over the years I have gained an abundance of knowledge and always willing to share them with other parents.

We tend to resort to teething toys while other parents resort to teething gels or other remedies to soothe their disgruntled children during their teething months. One of our favourite teething toy is the Manhattan Toy Winkel.

Football Sunday With My Son

Yesterday was a day of relaxation, watching football after a long work week. My son and I watched most of the games together while taking breaks at half time for a little relief. It was a fun filled day watching three different football games.

It had been quite some time since I last watched so many football games in one day. I had the opportunity to enjoy three games, with the first being my favourite team, the Miami Dolphins which played the Indianapolis Colts. It was a hard fought game, to some degree exciting, but in the end the Colts came away with the victory.

A match up of two rookie quarterbacks. Both looked good, but the Colts quarterback, Andrew Luck was the star on this day, throwing for a rookie record of 433 yards on his way to the record books and looking like a true veteran. Tannihill threw for 290 yards and looked good as well, despite losing the game as the quarterback of the Miami Dolphins. With time both quarterbacks will be super stars in the NFL, they sure looked good on yesterday. I enjoyed it knowing my team will improve having a quarterback with superstar potential.

Next game I watched was the Pittsburgh Steelers Vs. the New York Giants, this was a good fought game with Pittsburgh pulling away in the fourth quarter after trailing most of the game.

Last but not least, the last game was the Dallas Cowboys Vs. the Atlanta Falcons. But far too many missed tackles on the Cowboys part and simple mistakes caused them the game. I was pulling for the Cowboys to win the game in order to preserve the Miami Dolphins undefeated record of 1972.

My team did not win but I enjoyed watching the games with my son. It was a good time for father and son together enjoying something we both love. Perhaps next time we will be on the winning end of the games.
